Eligibility Criteria for the Nursery Capital Grant

Eligibility Criteria

The School-Based Nursery Capital Grant is available to state-funded primary-phase schools in England that currently provide early education, such as reception classes. Eligible schools can apply for funding to repurpose surplus space within their buildings to create or expand nursery facilities, enhancing early years education provision.

While maintained nursery and special schools are not eligible for this funding round, they are encouraged to express interest in future opportunities. This initiative forms part of the government’s long-term strategy to expand early years education, particularly in high-need areas, by making efficient use of underutilised school spaces.

What Our Clients Say About Us

Testimonials

“With their proven track record of success, Lianne and the team were selected for a 3rd year to work with Trinitas to research and compile strong evidence-packed bids for a range of projects in 2024.

Lianne’s knowledge and understanding of the CIF process places them in the ideal position to maximise the chance of success in what is a dwindling success rate nationally. The whole bid package including the many surveys and visits leads to the delivery of successful projects with the shared aim of keeping our schools warm, safe and dry.

Lianne’s ongoing managing of the project is essential to success, with the attention to detail, quality is ensured and important tasks kept on track.”
